  1. I agree with your content, but am confused by your title. Seems the title reverses the point you make: that engagement is the spark (ignition) and performance is the fire.

    With that, I completely agree. The desire/ability/willingness of employees (also managers, leaders, and solopreneurs) to engage initiates (and closes) a reinforcement circle with engagement. The formula I (p)refer is

    Employee Engagement >> Performance Improvement >> Results
